A Celebration Of The Many Faces Of The Edinburgh Festival
A series of photographs taken on the streets of Edinburgh during the International Festivals from 2010 onwards. The images include performers, tourists and locals just going about their daily business.
Some Useful LinksAbout MeMy name is Ewan Brown and although I currently live in the Scottish Borders I know Edinburgh very well. I have been taking photographs for about 30 years and mainly do landscapes and street photography. Enjoy the images on the site and thanks for looking.
Some Technical StuffMost of the images were taken using a Nikon D300S with a Nikkor 18-200 VRII. Post processing was done using Adobe Photoshop Elements and Adobe Lightroom. Presets provided by OnOne Software were used within Lightroom to create the black and white vignettes. The video was shot on a Nikon D7100.

LocationsMost of the photographs were taken on the High Street between the Tron Church and George IV Bridge. A few others were taken in and around Princes Street Gardens.

VideoIf you have never been to the Festival/Fringe and would like a little insight into what goes on then watch this video. It was shot in 2015 and lasts only a little over 60 seconds.
